Visit Lakefront Park in Kissimmee, Florida.

Have you visited the Lakefront Park in Kissimmee? Reviews say that this picturesque leisure area on the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga is a pleasant stop off for walkers, joggers, bird and Florida wildlife spotters, picnickers and has playgrounds for children to play. It is a place where the local community gather. There are regular organised events and Festivals, such as the Great Outdoors Day re-scheduled from July (because of predicted bad weather) to Saturday September 12th 2015. A day filled with family friendly fun activities.

There is great scenery, sheltered places to sit, a pretty lighthouse, lots of wildlife and plenty of things to do.

One of Walt Disney Worlds On Sight Hotels, The Disney Pop Century Resort.

On our last trip to Walt Disney World we took a day out to visit the different Resort Hotels, it was quite an interesting and enjoyable day. Seeing the wide range of accommodation that is on offer is eye opening, Disney think of everything for their guests enjoyment.

Today I will mention the Disney Pop Century Resort, it is classed as a value hotel, great for families. It has attractive decor depicting the era from the 1950's to the 1990's, a pool with water jets and on selected nights outdoor Disney movies by the pool, take a walk, or jog around the mile long complex, 

I read reviews which were very honest and I got the impression that it is a great hotel for families, expect hustle and bustle, lots of happy and excited children, clean and well kept accommodation, transport to the parks, dining, shops and video games arcade within the resort.

Buzzing, busy and fun.

The Town of Celebration Near Disney World Florida.

Near to the theme park area in Orlando Florida there is a quaint little town called Celebration, which has an amazing atmosphere. The sense of community is very apparent with well kept beautiful houses, town hall, health facilities, schools, parks, amenities, shops, places of worship and lakeside leisure areas. All maintained to a high standard. There are meetings and resident events held regularly, a farmers market and a monthly food truck to name just a couple of get togethers. And every year at Christmas there is 'snow'.

It's a delightful place to visit and to sit by the lakeside and dream of living there.

Epcot's Canada Showcase. WDW Orlando.

As it's Canada Day I thought I would write a few words on the Canadian Showcase Pavilion at Epcot. 

Here the landscape and scenery of Canada is portrayed in an excellent setting, depicting the Canadian Rockies, walk through beautiful gardens with stream and boulders. Overlooked by a Canadian château.

Don't miss the 18 minute movie in the circle vision cinema called O Canada, showing the breathtaking scenery, cities, Niagra Falls, and more.

In the cellar of the château is a popular Steak restaurant called Le Cellier Steakhouse, (making a reservation is advised).

Souvenirs clothing and crafts can be bought at two stores in the location and outdoor kiosks.

A Walk Along Disney's BoardWalk. WDW.

We walked along the Disney BoardWalk, it was early and very peaceful. We sat on the wicker sun lounges of the Disney’s Boardwalk Inn drinking in its beauty. 

Through the day stroll along visiting the elegant shops, enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants and at evening time the atmosphere is filled with exciting nightlife, entertainment, dining and dancing.
