To conclude your exciting and fun filled day at Universal Studios Theme Park Orlando there is an amazing and dramatic finale ‘Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular-100 Years of Movie Memories’

The show is narrated by Morgan Freeman and apart from viewing clips from many Universal films old and new, has powerful pyrotechnic special effects casting images of waterfalls and fountains, together with stirring music.

And to end, watch an amazingly colourful firework display lasting approximately 18 minutes.

Pirate Attraction Opening Soon At Hollywood Studios Florida

Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Florida will be opening a new pirate attraction The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow, it is to be opened in the fall 2012. The idea is for guests to become immersed in the story of the Pirates life imagining and experiencing the World of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Arcade and Pinball weekend at International Palms Resort Orlando.

If you like arcade and pinball games, Orlando is hosting the ‘Game Warp Show’ at the International Palms Resort on July 27th to July 29th 2012. Classic pinball machines, arcade and computer games will be available for visitors use throughout the weekend.

Planet Hollywood’s Party for Orlando Local, Member of the U.S. Olympic Diving Team.

Downtown Disney’s Planet Hollywood Orlando recently held a good luck party for one of its locals, who is a member of the U.S. Olympic Diving Team. Brittany Viola is heading for London to compete in the Summer Olympic Games 2012. Her event is the Women’s 10-meter platform which is scheduled for August 8th and 9th at the London Aquatics Centre.

Independence Day celebrations in Orlando 2012

Here are a few events that are happening around the Orlando area for 4^th July 2012

Downtown Orlando is holding ‘Fireworks at the Fountain’. At Lake Eola park, there will be entertainment, food, fun and music, starting at 4pm on July 4^th, fireworks at 9.30pm.

In Kissimmee at Lakefront park there will be live music and entertainment, festivities begin at 5.00pm until 9.00pm. Ending with a firework display.

At the City of Celebration through the day their will be parades, entertainment, costume contests, music, food. Fireworks at 9.30 pm.

At the theme parks

The Magic Kingdom has ‘Celebrate America’ with fireworks at 9pm.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has a party atmosphere starting at 6.00pm with music and fun for all ending with fireworks with a rock and roll soundtrack at 9.45 pm.

Epcot’s IllumiNations:‘Reflections of Earth’ will end with a patriotic finale. Performance begins 10pm.

Universal Resort Orlando has it’s ‘Cinesphere’ show which begins at 9.00pm. which has a patriotic ending for Independence Day.

Dumbo Adventure at WDW Florida

At Walt Disney World Florida’s Magic Kingdom the new Dumbo ride has a way to cut down on waiting, by having an interactive play experience in an air conditioned Circus tent, where guests will be given a pager and called when it’s their turn, this should keep the children amused and happy making the visit to Dumbo a very exciting and pleasant experience. Due to open July 2012.

Live Music at Universal Studios Orlando for the 2012 Summer Concert Series.

The event begins June 9th through to July 14th 2012 at the Music Plaza Stage, Universal Studios Florida.

Artists such as Al Green, Josh Turner, ZZ Top & 3 Doors Down, plus more well known acts will be performing live on Saturday nights.

Second Attempt to Launch SpaceX Dragon Capsule Successful.

The original launch of the SpaceX Dragon capsule was postponed but it has now safely begun it’s journey to the International Space Station, where in 2 days it should reach it’s destination and begin procedures to offload it’s cargo to the astronauts currently on board the space Station.
