Heart Health Awareness at Downtown Kissimmee’s 5K, February 2013.

When better to have the Kissimmee 5K which is promoting heart health,  than near Valentines Day? A portion of the proceeds will be going to the American Heart Association. This annual event will be taking place on February 16^th 2013 starting and finishing at Toho Square in Downtown Kissimmee.

There will be heart shaped stickers to buy to remember heart disease sufferers.

Winning competitors will receive prizes and there is a prize for the most unique Valentines Day costume!

Watch the ‘Super Bowl’ at ‘Clean the World Super Bowling Party Charity Event.’ Downtown Disney.

For a different way to spend Super bowl Sunday February 3rd 2013, there is a charity event for grown ups taking place at Splitsville Downtown Disney where there are lots of TV screens in the three bars and outside seating areas to watch the game.  Admission to the party is $75 per person over 21. Part of the proceeds are going to the Clean the World foundation which is based in Orlando.

 Splitsville is a Restaurant/ Bowling venue recently opened which offers, food, bowling, pool tables , bars, music and entertainment. At Downtown Disney Walt Disney World, Florida.

Legoland Florida has Star Wars Model Display Now.

Legoland Florida have a new expansion to Miniland USA, featuring Star Wars models from the six action Star Wars movies, created out of 1.5 million Lego bricks and built in 1:20 scale. They are bought to life by animation, lighting and sound effects.

On May 4th and 5^th 2013 they are holding special Lego Star Wars Days with a Yoda scavenger hunt and Lego building.

Great excitement was to be had at The Magic Kingdom on December 5th which was part of the official opening of the new Fantasyland Walt Disney World. A ‘DRAGON’ flew above Cinderella’s Castle, surprising guests and giving that extra special Disney magic for all to enjoy. The following day the opening ceremony took place with music and entertainment in the true Disney style.
