Independence Day celebrations in Orlando 2012

Here are a few events that are happening around the Orlando area for 4th July 2012

Downtown Orlando is holding ‘Fireworks at the Fountain’. At Lake Eola park, there will be entertainment, food, fun and music, starting at 4pm on July 4th, fireworks at 9.30pm.

In Kissimmee at Lakefront park there will be live music and entertainment, festivities begin at 5.00pm until 9.00pm. Ending with a firework display.

At the City of Celebration through the day their will be parades, entertainment, costume contests, music, food. Fireworks at 9.30 pm.

At the theme parks

The Magic Kingdom has ‘Celebrate America’ with fireworks at 9pm.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has a party atmosphere starting at 6.00pm with music and fun for all ending with fireworks with a rock and roll soundtrack at 9.45 pm.

Epcot’s IllumiNations:‘Reflections of Earth’ will end with a patriotic finale. Performance begins 10pm.

Universal Resort Orlando has it’s ‘Cinesphere’ show which begins at 9.00pm. which has a patriotic ending for Independence Day.

Dumbo Adventure at WDW Florida

At Walt Disney World Florida’s Magic Kingdom the new Dumbo ride has a way to cut down on waiting, by having an interactive play experience in an air conditioned Circus tent, where guests will be given a pager and called when it’s their turn, this should keep the children amused and happy making the visit to Dumbo a very exciting and pleasant experience. Due to open July 2012.

Live Music at Universal Studios Orlando for the 2012 Summer Concert Series.

The event begins June 9th through to July 14th 2012 at the Music Plaza Stage, Universal Studios Florida.

Artists such as Al Green, Josh Turner, ZZ Top & 3 Doors Down, plus more well known acts will be performing live on Saturday nights.

New Themed Accommodation Resort Opened At Walt Disney World Florida.

Disney have recently opened The Art of Animation Resort with ‘Finding Nemo’ Family Suites now available, ‘Cars’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’ rooms will be opening through the summer of 2012.
